The Coordinator of Human Resources: Staffing Specialist is an administrative, non-exempt, hourly position and is a team member of Insights Consulting, Inc., providing support to the therapeutic, residential, and related/contracted services teams. While primarily responsible for recruiting and hiring, the Coordinator of HR/RH will participate as an integral part of the Business Operations/Human Resources Team. With a focus on recruitment, retention, screening, interviewing and hiring qualified staff, the Coordinator of HR will be responsible for maintaining accurate and current job postings, completing pre-hire and post-hire support and documentation, providing necessary follow-up to applicants regarding required documentation, maintaining accurate tracking and reporting of staffing requisitions, needs, and monthly hiring trends, as well as providing assisting with filing, mailings and other administrative needs of the organization. This is a very collaborative position, focused on employee relations and will require significant process collaboration with other team members. When there is more than one Coordinator of HR – each will be trained globally on all responsibilities but will be assigned and accountable for specific outcomes.


Must possess excellent communication, organizational, training and negotiating skills and have the ability to effectively interact with employees from senior management to the point of service delivery

An understanding and acceptance of people with various lifestyles and value systems is required

High School Diploma is required

Ability to pass Criminal Background Check is required

Verification of good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation is required

Experience/demonstrated understanding of scattered site program management and service delivery to individuals with intellectual disabilities is required

At least two years of experience screening, interviewing, and assessing applicants is required

Experience using traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates is preferred

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources or Labor Relations is preferred

Three to five years of progressively responsible human resource and labor relations experience is required and can replace a Bachelor's degree preference
